Thanks for posting this Carmen! I wasn't aware this was taking place here in Victoria. My partner and I just got engaged, so it may be something that we will look into. However, I struggle with the thought that weddings are so commercialized and materialistic. I'm trying to find that balance between having a low-key event that focuses mainly our relationship and future together, and the allure of the wedding industry. It's really hard not to go down that rabbit hole.
